Hi Carin

We are London based so have little knowledge of the shops of Edinburgh. We also favour yarn made from pure-bred Acrylic. We'd suggest asking these guys about knitting shops in the area http://www.ravelry.com/groups/city-knitty as they are local.

PS. There is no underground in Edinburgh. I believe the trams do needlepoint, though.

PPS. We cannot tell you of yarnstorming groups in Edinburgh as the first rule of yarnstorming is that you do not reveal the identities of other yarnstormers. The Edinburgh knitting group mentioned above may be aware of someone, though.

Hello Knitsters,

I've just relocated to Edinburgh and I've been looking for bulky wools/natural fibers to work with. It seems there aren't many shops that carry that sort of knitting material! Do you have any advice for local/or/online purchasing or is there a knitting underground up North that I can join?

Thanks,
Carin
