A sneak peek at the beginnings of our handmade art.

We’re sneaking into Tate Britain for one day only. MWA HA HA HAAAAA!

Join Knit the City for our latest ‘Permission to Yarnstorm’ installation ‘Half Sick of Stitching’ at Tate Britain. For one day only we join the Punchdrunk Enrichment and a gaggle of amazing artists for the Tate Loud event.

We’ve been beavering away in the secret woolly bunker weaving a handmade web for our most challenging yarnstorm yet.

In less than a week we’ve managed to conjure up an installation that will sit in the same space as some of the art world’s most well-known artists, and it all start with one simple handmade cord…

There’s also the chance to be part of the art as Deadly Knitshade will be running a free drop in Weave a Woolly Web workshop on Saturday 22nd September from 12 till 5pm.

There’ll be a whole herd of lovely Stitch London Sages to help non-knitters and knitters alike be a part of the handmade art.

Join us! Or sulk because you can’t.
